Procurement and Materials Planning position aim is to ensure that the supply of materials meet the production schedule and stock levels to grantee smooth manufacturing process, also maintains strong relationships both internally and externally to ensure supply of materials meets requirements.


RESPONSIBILIETIES:


  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet the organization’s current and future needs.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including negotiation of contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, including contract management, vendor selection, and performance evaluation.
  • Monitor market trends and leverage procurement best practices to drive cost savings and value creation opportunities.
  • Responsible for the material planning through the MRP, to ensure uninterrupted flow of materials on a regular basis and proactive planning of all procurement activities.
  • Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) and scrutinize current and future forecasting analysis, insuring forecasting processes and methods are followed properly.
  • Successfully and accurately control MRP system and processes, from forecast upload to generation of all inventory reporting.
  • Systematize the creation of purchasing reports to monitor the purchasing and financial performance indicators by the Planning team.
  • Facilitate the forecasting and inventory process through focusing on cross functional communication, direction setting, risk management, and conflict resolution.
  • Source new suppliers & negotiating prices for spot orders.



QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or any other related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Procurement and Material Planning
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
